Mission on, Moolah missing

The 28th Conference of Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) concluded in December 2023 with a historic decision to transition away from fossil fuels, but developing nations expressed concerns over having to shoulder a larger burden of the climate change battle. Though hailed as a crucial step in tackling climate change, the absence of concrete commitments on financial support by developed nations has left developing nations with limited external help to address climate change impacts.
